Unix/Storage System Engineer
In connection with company development we are currently searching for candidates for the position of Unix/Storage System Engineer in the technical department.Job description:
- Participation in and running the implementation projects in the area of mass memory, backup systems, high-availability systems and others.
- Installation and set-up of IT equipment. Installation and set-up of software.
- Presales.
- Provision of maintenance services to final customers.
Requirements:
- Very good knowledge of Unix systems (at least one from Solaris, AIX, HP-UX).
- Very good knowledge of Linux systems.
- Basic knowledge of systems made by Microsoft.
- Communicativeness and impeccable manner.
- Good knowledge of network-related issues and LANs/WANs.
- Knowledge of computer construction, knowledge of server construction is welcome.
- Fascination with IT and a strong motivation for knowledge acquisition.
- Self-reliance in running projects and responsibility.
- Higher education (preferably technical).
- Driving licence – category B.
