• Cycle of “Virtualization in Datacenter” workshops is completed. - 14.06.2011
  On June 2, 2011 the cycle of lectures entitled “Virtualization in Datacenter" conducted by the employees of Bank Zachodni WBK WINTEL Server Support Team was completed.
  
  The lectures were organized with the cooperation of Advatech, which was one of the sponsors of valuable prizes. [ more ]
• “Virtualization in Datacenter” lectures drew the interest of more than 80 students. - 14.06.2011
  
  The first lecture, presented on March 24, was attended by more than 80 students of the 4th and 5th year. The best of them will undergo prestigious training in a certification center, completed with an exam. What should one do to become eligible for the certification training? Participate in all lectures and record a high score in the test, which will follow the series of five lectures. A major advantage of the lectures is the real-life and latest know-how presented by the practitioners, and the opportunity to see Sun 8000 Blade hardware, disk array and tape library made available by Advatech. The lectures were initiated by Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. from Wrocław, Advatech is their main sponsor, as well as the sponsor of the certification training and exams related to vSphere Install, Configure and Manage.

• Advatech is “2011 Partner of the Year” for Oracle - 14.06.2011
  During the conference “Oracle Partner Network Days” in Warsaw we were awarded with the “Oracle Poland 2011 Partner of the Year” statue in the category of "Oracle Hardware Partner of the Year”, accepted by Mr. Jacek Szubert, President of Advatech. As a partner, who gained specialization in the scope of Solaris solutions, we also received thanks for our contribution to cooperation, competence building and achieving the Specialized Oracle Partner status. The diploma was accepted by Ms. Magdalena Płotnicka, Marketing and Development Director. [ more ]

• We help to develop IT talents - 14.06.2011
  For the second time Advatech was one of the main sponsors of the 10th edition of IT T@alents – an IT knowledge contest. A total of 90 contestants from secondary and upper secondary schools took part in this extensive event, spanning the districts of Wałbrzych, Kamienna Góra, Świdnica and Kłodzko. The enterprise was initiated by the School Complex no. 8 in Wałbrzych, and the honorary patron of the event is the Lower Silesia Chief Education Officer and Wałbrzych Staroste.
  The main purpose of the contest is to train the young people’s ability to gather and expand IT knowledge, and also the cooperation between the employer and the school. The winners received valuable prizes from the sponsors. [ more ]
• We were present at the Polish premier of Exadata! Oracle Database Machine - 14.06.2011
  As one of the main sponsors and partners of Oracle we took part in the conference, where Exadata – a database environment – was presented for the first time in Poland. The meeting commenced with an artistic show, during which Exadata was unveiled. The benefits of the solution were discussed during the training part, attended by more than 100 persons. The conference was organized by Oracle and Arrow ECS. [ more ]
• Advatech is the main sponsor of the 8th Polish Championship Advatech SquashMasters 2010 - 14.06.2011
  The Amateur Polish championship for people of at least 35 years of age was held on Saturday in Krakow. The players, including last year medalists, competed in several age categories.
  The championship was organized by the Krakow-based Squash4You club, and Advatech was the main sponsor. [ more ]
• We support the activity of Matchpoint Tennis & Sports Club from Ślęza - 14.06.2011
  One of our contributions is the sponsoring of various tournaments organized by Matchpoint club and funding the prizes for the winners. Our support also enabled club dress kits for the club’s badminton school for children to be purchased.
  We have been cooperating with Matchpoint Tennis & Sports Club since its foundation in 2009. We are often the title sponsor of tournaments and leagues, e.g. Advatech Matchpoint Cup or Advatech Matchpoint Badminton Business Team League, which started in 2010. [ more ]
• The 1st Youth Badminton Tournament - 14.06.2011
  
  The 1st Matchpoint Youth Badminton Tournament was held on March 20, 2010. The primary sponsor of the tournament was Advatech. Children competed in three age categories: Hobbits - 6-9 years, Smeagols - 10-13 years, Yazguls - 13-16 years. Each young player received a surprise award.

• Advatech sponsors the “IT T@lent” contest - 22.03.2010
  We would like to inform you that Advatech became the sponsor of “IT T@lent” in Szczawno Zdrój.
  
  On December 8, 2009 the 9th edition of the IT Knowledge Contest “IT Talent” will be held.
  Junior high school and high school pupils from the districts of Wałbrzych, Kamienna Góra, Świdnica and Kłodzko will fight for the valuable prizes. Around 90 participants, delegated from schools as persons with special IT talents, will take part in the contest. [ more ]
